Trump's physical 'decline' said to be made clear in Davos: 'Like Frankenstein's monster'

President Donald Trump made waves this week with his address at the World Economic Forum in Davos, Switzerland, where he floated and later walked back threats to take over Greenland, but some eagle-eyed observers were instead fixated on the 79-year-old president’s physical appearance, which journalist Peter Rothpletz noted Friday appeared to be in sharp “decline.”

“Trump is all but indistinguishable from a ‘fresh-bitten’ extra straight out of makeup on the set of ‘The Walking Dead,’” Rothpletz wrote in an analysis published Friday in Zeteo.

“The commander in chief looks like a copper-toned corpse… like Frankenstein’s Monster after a long weekend of boozing in Palm Springs.”

Trump appeared in Davos sporting some severe bruising on his left hand, a bruise that White House Press Secretary Karoline Leavitt said was caused by hitting his hand “in the corner of the signing table.” While an analysis by MS NOW found no evidence supporting Leavitt’s explanation, Trump’s fresh bruise is just the latest in a series of increasingly frequent signs of the president’s potential health struggles.

Trump has been spotted frequently with bruising on his right hand – which Leavitt has said was caused by Trump “shaking hands all day” – and when bruising first appeared on his left hand, the White House blamed it on the president’s daily aspirin use. The president has also sparked health concerns over his swollen ankles, increasing instances of rambling during speeches, and his MRI scan that has yet to be explained in full.

“Now, no one knows what to believe as Trump may seemingly soon have enough spots across his person to rival the 101 Dalmatians,” Rothpletz wrote.

“What’s clear, though, is that the orange man isn’t well. Apologies to the woke crowd circa 2018, but it isn’t a war crime to observe the objective reality that Donald J. Trump is a corpulent, decaying blob of a human whose jowls daily increase in size, whose vocabulary decreases apace, and whose eyes can’t stay open in public meetings.”

Franklin Templeton CEO Dismisses 50bps Rate Cut Ahead FOMC

The post Franklin Templeton CEO Dismisses 50bps Rate Cut Ahead FOMC appeared on BitcoinEthereumNews.com. Franklin Templeton CEO Jenny Johnson has weighed in on whether the Federal Reserve should make a 25 basis points (bps) Fed rate cut or 50 bps cut. This comes ahead of the Fed decision today at today’s FOMC meeting, with the market pricing in a 25 bps cut. Bitcoin and the broader crypto market are currently trading flat ahead of the rate cut decision. Franklin Templeton CEO Weighs In On Potential FOMC Decision In a CNBC interview, Jenny Johnson said that she expects the Fed to make a 25 bps cut today instead of a 50 bps cut. She acknowledged the jobs data, which suggested that the labor market is weakening. However, she noted that this data is backward-looking, indicating that it doesn’t show the current state of the economy. She alluded to the wage growth, which she remarked is an indication of a robust labor market. She added that retail sales are up and that consumers are still spending, despite inflation being sticky at 3%, which makes a case for why the FOMC should opt against a 50-basis-point Fed rate cut. In line with this, the Franklin Templeton CEO said that she would go with a 25 bps rate cut if she were Jerome Powell. She remarked that the Fed still has the October and December FOMC meetings to make further cuts if the incoming data warrants it. Johnson also asserted that the data show a robust economy. However, she noted that there can’t be an argument for no Fed rate cut since Powell already signaled at Jackson Hole that they were likely to lower interest rates at this meeting due to concerns over a weakening labor market. Notably, her comment comes as experts argue for both sides on why the Fed should make a 25 bps cut or…
