The RT Critics Consensus and audience summary are still pending.

By contrast, The Witcher Season 1 received a 68% “fresh” rating from RT critics based on 92 reviews and an 88% Popcornmeter score based on 10,000-plus verified user ratings; while Season 2 earned a 95% “fresh” rating on RT based on 64 reviews and a 54% “rotten” Popcornmeter score based on 5,000-plus verified user ratings.

Season 3 of The Witcher, meanwhile, earned a 79% “fresh” rating from critics on RT based on 47 reviews and a 20% “rotten” score based on 2,500-plus verified user ratings.

What Are Individual Critics Saying About ‘The Witcher’ Season 4?

Joining Liam Hemsworth in The Witcher Season 4 are Anya Chalotra as Yennifer and Freya Allan as Ciri. The official logline for The Witcher Season 4 reads, “After the Continent-altering events of Season Three, Geralt, Yennefer, and Ciri find themselves separated by a raging war and countless enemies.

“As their paths diverge and their goals sharpen, they stumble on unexpected allies eager to join their journeys. And if they can accept these found families, they just might have a chance at reuniting for good.”

Aramide Tinubu of Variety is among the top critics on RT who give The Witcher Season 4 a “fresh” review, writing, “In a much sharper and less convoluted season than the previous one, The Witcher Season 4 is action-packed and full of dazzling characters both old and new.”

Ed Power of the UK’s Daily Telegraph also gives the new season of The Witcher a “fresh” review on RT, but notes that Hemsworth’s “quietly ridiculous turn is nonetheless perfectly attuned to a show that harks back to the days before fantasy was cool and gets by (just about) on sheer silliness.”

Sarah Dempster of the Guardian also calls out Hemsworth in her “rotten” review on RT, writing, “While his predecessor invested Geralt I with a gruff likability, Geralt II is less ‘valorous man-mountain grappling with responsibilities beyond our ken’ and more ‘bollard in a wig.”

Chase Hutchinson of The Wrap also gives The Witcher Season 4 a “rotten” review on RT, writing that where Henry Cavill “brought a real presence to the role — managing to be gruffly funny in one moment and believably brutal in the next — Hemsworth is just an anchor around the entire experience from which The Witcher can’t shake free.

Rated TV-MA, all episodes of The Witcher Seasons 1-4 are streaming on Netflix.

Andre Agassi takes the captaincy reins from John McEnroe for Team World, which features top ten stars Taylor Fritz and Alex de Minaur alongside Brazilian wonderkid Joao Fonseca. Team Europe’s lineup boasts new world No. 1 Carlos Alcaraz and world No. 3 Alexander Zverev, with Casper Ruud and Holger Rune making an impressive front four on the grid. Europe have won the event five times in the seven iterations so far under the watchful eye of Bjorn Borg. The charismatic former French Open champion Yannick Noah skippers the team as Tim Henman comes in as vice-captain. “I’ve talked to many of the players and they say it’s one of the most fun events to play in, a great event,” said Rune ahead of the Open Practice Day. The Laver Cup was the brainchild of Roger Federer and his longtime agent Tony Godsick. The original concept was to bring about the best of the past, present and future of tennis in a weekend event that could match the team and individual dynamic of the Ryder Cup. The singles and fourballs of golf can easily be swapped into tennis terminology as nine singles and three doubles build to a (potentially) thrilling last day of competition with the first to reach 13 points declared the winner. In the Ryder Cup, 14 and a half points are needed to win outright. Laver Cup CEO Steve…

Edges higher ahead of BoC-Fed policy outcome

The post Edges higher ahead of BoC-Fed policy outcome appeared on BitcoinEthereumNews.com. USD/CAD gains marginally to near 1.3760 ahead of monetary policy announcements by the Fed and the BoC. Both the Fed and the BoC are expected to lower interest rates. USD/CAD forms a Head and Shoulder chart pattern. The USD/CAD pair ticks up to near 1.3760 during the late European session on Wednesday. The Loonie pair gains marginally ahead of monetary policy outcomes by the Bank of Canada (BoC) and the Federal Reserve (Fed) during New York trading hours. Both the BoC and the Fed are expected to cut interest rates amid mounting labor market conditions in their respective economies. Inflationary pressures in the Canadian economy have cooled down, emerging as another reason behind the BoC’s dovish expectations. However, the Fed is expected to start the monetary-easing campaign despite the United States (US) inflation remaining higher. Investors will closely monitor press conferences from both Fed Chair Jerome Powell and BoC Governor Tiff Macklem to get cues about whether there will be more interest rate cuts in the remainder of the year. According to analysts from Barclays, the Fed’s latest median projections for interest rates are likely to call for three interest rate cuts by 2025. Ahead of the Fed’s monetary policy, the US Dollar Index (DXY), which tracks the Greenback’s value against six major currencies, holds onto Tuesday’s losses near 96.60. USD/CAD forms a Head and Shoulder chart pattern, which indicates a bearish reversal. The neckline of the above-mentioned chart pattern is plotted near 1.3715. The near-term trend of the pair remains bearish as it stays below the 20-day Exponential Moving Average (EMA), which trades around 1.3800. The 14-day Relative Strength Index (RSI) slides to near 40.00. A fresh bearish momentum would emerge if the RSI falls below that level. Going forward, the asset could slide towards the round level of…
