WisdomTree RWA Expansion Meets Critical Trendline Test

  • Solana drops 1.61% to $123.14 as price tests the ascending trendline from early 2025 lows, a structure that has supported the entire bull market.
  • WisdomTree expands its full suite of tokenized funds to Solana, enabling institutional and retail minting, trading, and self-custody of RWAs on-chain.
  • RSI reaches 33.82 on shorter timeframes as the recent recovery trendline breaks, signaling near-term weakness despite improving fundamentals.

Solana price today trades near $123.14 as the token tests a critical ascending trendline that has supported the entire 2025 rally. The technical pressure comes as WisdomTree announces a major expansion of tokenized real-world assets to the Solana network, highlighting the divergence between improving fundamentals and weakening price structure.

WisdomTree Brings Full RWA Suite To Solana

WisdomTree announced that both institutional and retail investors can now access its complete suite of tokenized funds on Solana through the WisdomTree Connect and WisdomTree Prime platforms. The integration represents a significant expansion of regulated real-world assets on the network.

The deployment enables native minting of all existing WisdomTree tokenized funds directly on Solana, including money market, equities, fixed income, alternatives, and asset allocation products. Users can also access USDC and PYUSD through WisdomTree’s stablecoin conversion service.

For institutional clients, the expansion provides the capability to purchase, hold, and manage tokenized fund positions directly on Solana with the technical ability to interact with native applications and protocols. Retail users through WisdomTree Prime can on-ramp USDC directly from Solana into regulated yield-generating funds while remaining entirely on-chain.

The move comes as total real-world assets on Solana surpass $1 billion. WisdomTree’s decision to deploy its full suite reflects growing institutional demand for tokenized RWAs and Solana’s ability to support that demand at scale with high transaction speeds and low costs.

Long-Term Trendline Faces Critical Test

SOL Price Action (Source: TradingView)

On the daily chart, SOL tests the ascending trendline drawn from the early 2025 lows near $100. This structure has supported the entire bull market, with multiple touches attracting buyers who defended the pattern through several corrections.

Price now trades below all four EMAs, confirming bearish short-term structure:

  • Immediate resistance: $127.65 (Supertrend area)
  • 20 EMA resistance: $129.70
  • 50 EMA resistance: $133.81
  • 100 EMA resistance: $144.09
  • 200 EMA resistance: $156.22
  • Trendline support: $120 to $122
  • Breakdown target: $100 to $110

The Supertrend indicator sits bearish at $140.18, well above current price. A reclaim of this level would signal a potential trend reversal, but significant buying pressure would be required to overcome the EMA cluster.

Intraday Structure Breaks Down

SOL Price Dynamics (Source: TradingView)

Shorter timeframes show the recent recovery attempt has failed. On the 30-minute chart, SOL broke below the ascending trendline from the January 26 low near $117. The breakdown signals that short-term momentum has shifted bearish.

RSI has dropped to 33.82, approaching oversold territory. MACD remains negative with the histogram expanding to the downside, confirming accelerating bearish momentum.

The $122 to $123 zone becomes the immediate battleground. Holding this range would preserve the daily trendline structure. A close below $120 would break the multi-month support and potentially trigger acceleration toward $100.

Outlook: Will Fundamentals Support The Trendline?

The setup shows institutional adoption accelerating as price tests critical support. WisdomTree’s expansion validates Solana’s positioning in the tokenization narrative, but technical structure requires buyers to step in at the trendline.

  • Bullish case: Price bounces from $120 trendline support as the WisdomTree news attracts institutional interest. A close above $130 confirms the support held and targets $140.

Bearish case: The trendline breaks as selling pressure overwhelms buyers. A close below $120 confirms the breakdown and targets the $100 to $110 range.

UK Looks to US to Adopt More Crypto-Friendly Approach

The post UK Looks to US to Adopt More Crypto-Friendly Approach appeared on BitcoinEthereumNews.com. The UK and US are reportedly preparing to deepen cooperation on digital assets, with Britain looking to copy the Trump administration’s crypto-friendly stance in a bid to boost innovation.  UK Chancellor Rachel Reeves and US Treasury Secretary Scott Bessent discussed on Tuesday how the two nations could strengthen their coordination on crypto, the Financial Times reported on Tuesday, citing people familiar with the matter.  The discussions also involved representatives from crypto companies, including Coinbase, Circle Internet Group and Ripple, with executives from the Bank of America, Barclays and Citi also attending, according to the report. The agreement was made “last-minute” after crypto advocacy groups urged the UK government on Thursday to adopt a more open stance toward the industry, claiming its cautious approach to the sector has left the country lagging in innovation and policy.  Source: Rachel Reeves Deal to include stablecoins, look to unlock adoption Any deal between the countries is likely to include stablecoins, the Financial Times reported, an area of crypto that US President Donald Trump made a policy priority and in which his family has significant business interests. The Financial Times reported on Monday that UK crypto advocacy groups also slammed the Bank of England’s proposal to limit individual stablecoin holdings to between 10,000 British pounds ($13,650) and 20,000 pounds ($27,300), claiming it would be difficult and expensive to implement. UK banks appear to have slowed adoption too, with around 40% of 2,000 recently surveyed crypto investors saying that their banks had either blocked or delayed a payment to a crypto provider.  Many of these actions have been linked to concerns over volatility, fraud and scams. The UK has made some progress on crypto regulation recently, proposing a framework in May that would see crypto exchanges, dealers, and agents treated similarly to traditional finance firms, with…
