WisdomTree Integrates Solana to Scale Onchain RWA Access

WisdomTree has expanded its tokenization ecosystem to the Solana blockchain, widening access to regulated real world assets. The move allows both institutional and retail users to mint, trade, and hold tokenized funds directly on Solana. This integration forms part of WisdomTree’s broader multi-chain strategy focused on onchain finance.

Consequently, investors can now interact with regulated financial products without leaving blockchain infrastructure. The expansion also reflects growing demand for faster settlement, lower costs, and improved onchain liquidity. Hence, Solana becomes a key distribution layer for WisdomTree’s digital asset offerings.

Solana Integration Extends Onchain Fund Access

WisdomTree now supports Solana across its WisdomTree Connect and WisdomTree Prime platforms. According to the press release, users can access tokenized money market, equity, fixed income, alternative, and allocation funds. Additionally, investors can use USDC and PYUSD through WisdomTree’s stablecoin conversion service.

The Solana deployment allows native minting of all existing tokenized funds. Moreover, institutions can manage positions directly onchain while interacting with Solana-based applications. These capabilities operate within predefined risk and compliance controls. Hence, the platform balances crypto-native functionality with institutional standards.

WisdomTree Connect also expands its B2B and B2B2C tokenization infrastructure through Solana support. Clients can subscribe and redeem funds without moving assets across chains. Significantly, this reduces operational friction for issuers and platforms building on Solana. The integration positions WisdomTree as an infrastructure provider, not only a fund issuer.

WisdomTree Prime Targets Onchain Retail Users

WisdomTree Prime now enables direct USDC on-ramps from Solana wallets. Retail users can access yield-generating tokenized funds while remaining fully onchain. Additionally, investors can purchase regulated products without traditional banking rails.

The platform also supports self-custody and asset portability on Solana. Consequently, users can move holdings to external wallets and explore Solana-native protocols. This design supports user control while maintaining regulated exposure.

Solana’s RWA Growth Attracts Asset Managers

Solana Foundation leadership framed the launch as part of a broader RWA expansion. Nick Ducoff said, “As real world assets on Solana surpass $1B, WisdomTree’s decision to expand their full suite of tokenized funds reflects the demand for expanded access to tokenized RWAs.” He added, “This launch also highlights the growing role regulated asset managers play in shaping the future of onchain finance.”

(Photo by Paul Natkin/Getty Images) Getty Images Singer Lou Gramm has a vivid memory of recording the ballad “Waiting for a Girl Like You” at New York City’s Electric Lady Studio for his band Foreigner more than 40 years ago. Gramm was adding his vocals for the track in the control room on the other side of the glass when he noticed a beautiful woman walking through the door. “She sits on the sofa in front of the board,” he says. “She looked at me while I was singing. And every now and then, she had a little smile on her face. I’m not sure what that was, but it was driving me crazy. “And at the end of the song, when I’m singing the ad-libs and stuff like that, she gets up,” he continues. “She gives me a little smile and walks out of the room. And when the song ended, I would look up every now and then to see where Mick [Jones] and Mutt [Lange] were, and they were pushing buttons and turning knobs. They were not aware that she was even in the room. So when the song ended, I said, ‘Guys, who was that woman who walked in? She was beautiful.’ And they looked at each other, and they went, ‘What are you talking about? We didn’t see anything.’ But you know what? I think they put her up to it. Doesn’t that sound more like them?” “Waiting for a Girl Like You” became a massive hit in 1981 for Foreigner off their album 4, which peaked at number one on the Billboard chart for 10 weeks and…

The fund’s primary goal is to expose investors to the most significant digital assets in the market without requiring them to buy, store, or secure the coins directly. In July, the SEC delayed its decision to convert GDLC from an OTC fund into an exchange-listed ETP on NYSE Arca, citing further review. However, the latest developments raise investors’ hopes that a multi-asset crypto ETP from Grayscale will soon become a reality. Approval under the Generic Listing Standards will help “streamline the process,” opening the door for more crypto ETPs. Ethereum, Solana, XRP, and ADA investors are the most…
