The New York Stock Exchange now hosts a statue of Bitcoin creator Satoshi Nakamoto, marking one of the clearest symbols yet of crypto’s entry into mainstream finance. The artwork, created by artist Valentina Picozzi, known as @satoshigallery on X, now stands inside the iconic Wall Street venue.
Twenty One Capital, described as a bitcoin-native public company trading under the ticker XXI, placed the statue at the exchange. The company presented the installation as a meeting point between digital assets and traditional markets, using the NYSE floor as a shared space between the two systems.
In a statement on X, the NYSE said the statue’s new home “marks a shared ground between emerging systems and established institutions.” The exchange added that the placement reflects how ideas that began as code can move into culture and, over time, become part of shared financial history.
