Minds by Animoca Brands and HKSTP extend Build East application deadline and expand eligibility to international teams

Animoca Brands and Hong Kong Science and Technology Parks Corporation (HKSTP)’s Global Connect – Global Innovation Exchange (GIE) announced that the application deadline for Build East has been extended from 22 to 26 June 2026. In addition, following strong interest from the global builder community, Build East is now open to international teams building with Minds by Animoca Brands (“Minds”).

Build East is a premier demo day co-hosted by Animoca Brands and HKSTP’s GIE, taking place on 7 July 2026 from 1 to 6 p.m. at Hong Kong Science Park, to showcase talent and projects focused on agentic AI (see announcement of 8 June 2026). The event will feature eight standout teams pitching their projects for potential access to the Minds Investment Programme, which was created to support early-stage builders integrating Minds as their core product layer. Teams which are successfully accepted into the investment programme, subject to assessment from time to time, will receive an individually tailored mix of benefits, such as Cognition Credits, developer relations support, high-value ecosystem introductions across Animoca Brands’ portfolio of over 600 companies, and, where appropriate and subject to due diligence, capital investment from an aggregate pool of up to US$10M.

Applications to Build East are now open to developers, founders, and early-stage teams worldwide that are building with Minds by Animoca Brands. The application deadline is 26 June 2026. Teams can apply directly via the Minds Builder Hub at https://build.hellominds.ai/program/build-east.
