Bitmine Immersion Technologies has accelerated its aggressive Ethereum accumulation strategy, pushing its holdings close to a critical ownership milestone. The company now controls nearly five million ETH, positioning itself as the largest Ethereum treasury globally. 

This rapid expansion comes as institutional demand for blockchain infrastructure rises and macro conditions begin to stabilize. Consequently, Bitmine’s growing dominance signals a structural shift in how public companies approach crypto balance sheets.

Bitmine’s Race Toward 5% ETH Ownership

Bitmine Immersion Technologies reported holdings of 4.976 million ETH, representing over 4% of the total supply. Moreover, the firm has reached 82% of its internal target to control 5% of all ETH. This pace stands out, as the company achieved it within just nine months.

Additionally, Bitmine holds $12.9 billion across crypto, cash, and strategic investments. Its Ethereum position alone dominates the portfolio. The firm also maintains smaller Bitcoin exposure and equity stakes tied to emerging technologies.

BMNR recently uplisted to the New York Stock Exchange, boosting liquidity and investor access. Trading volumes now average $1.2 billion daily, placing the stock among the most active in the United States.

Staking Strategy and Institutional Expansion

Bitmine continues to scale its staking infrastructure through MAVAN, its in-house validator network. The company has already staked over 3.3 million ETH, generating substantial yield. Consequently, staking has become a core revenue engine rather than a passive strategy.

Annualized staking revenue now exceeds $200 million. Projections suggest this could rise significantly as more ETH enters validation. Moreover, institutional interest in staking continues to grow as firms seek stable blockchain yields.

Tom Lee has emphasized Ethereum’s role in both financial tokenization and AI infrastructure. He highlights growing demand from Wall Street and autonomous systems requiring neutral blockchain layers.

Ethereum Price Faces Key Technical Test

Despite strong fundamentals, Ethereum price action remains fragile in the short term. The asset trades below a critical resistance level near $2,350. This level previously acted as support, making it technically significant.

According to Ted Pillows, failure to reclaim $2,350 could trigger downside toward $2,100. Additionally, price continues to compress under resistance despite forming higher lows.

Immediate support sits near $2,200, followed by a stronger zone around $2,100. A breakdown below this range could accelerate selling pressure. However, a successful reclaim of $2,350 would reopen upside potential toward $2,500.
