Adnoc Gas 2025 dividend payout reaches $3.6bn

Adnoc Gas shareholders approved a final dividend of $896 million for 2025 at their annual general meeting on Monday.

The dividend will be distributed in May, bringing last year’s payout to $3.6 billion, the UAE state-run Wam news agency reported, citing a company statement.

The company, which trades on the Abu Dhabi Securities Exchange, paid an interim cash dividend of $1.8 billion in September, followed by a quarterly dividend of $896 million in December.

The payment is in line with its 5 percent annual dividend growth policy and supported by free cash flow generation, which exceeds last year’s dividend commitment by more than $500 million.

The Adnoc subsidiary has set a dividend target of $24.4 billion for 2025-2030, the statement said.

Amid the US-Israeli war with Iran, the company said earlier that falling debris after an interception by UAE air defence systems resulted in an incident at its Habshan complex on April 3. 

The company’s shares closed nearly 1 percent higher at AED3.21 on Monday but are down almost 10 percent so far this year.
