LONGUEUIL, QC, Feb. 2, 2026 /CNW/ – On Tuesday, February 3, following the wet dress rehearsal, a fueling test of NASA’s SLS (Space Launch System) rocket at the launch pad for the Artemis II Moon mission, NASA will discuss initial results during a news conference at 12 p.m. ET.
The news conference will be livestreamed on NASA’s YouTube channel. To participate in the news conference virtually, media must RSVP no later than two hours prior to the start of the call by writing to lauren.e.low@nasa.gov.
Only media representatives who have already been accredited may attend the media events at Kennedy Space Center (KSC).
Expected crew arrival
Following a successful wet dress rehearsal, NASA will make a final call to send the Artemis II astronauts to KSC in Florida, where they will continue their quarantine in preparation for launch. If the crew members are sent to KSC, they are expected to arrive at about 3 p.m. ET on February 3. They will participate in a media scrum, which will also streamed live on NASA’s YouTube channel.
